What an AWEsome day!
Master Junior Mint participated in his first Martial Arts competiton in Hapkido and won First Place in "Sparring". This is where you punch and kick each other. Points are earned for contact made.
MJM had to compete in a elimination bracket to earn his trophy. He defeated two Orange belts (a higher level belt than his Yellow belt) and a White belt (a lower level belt) during the elimination. He also won a Third Place trophy in "Forms", which is akin to a display of style.
He observed his Instructor display some impressive moves, and wants to enter the weapons competion next time.
Well done son.

outstanding! Way to go, Master Mint.
Isn't it cool when practice pays off?
Should I be scared of Jr. Mint now? I mean, he could probably take me down in a heartbeat.
